Reading for Solidarity: March 14 Reading Group

Join us for our Reading for Solidarity reading group! This is an opportunity to engage socialist ideas, share differing perspectives, and enjoy lively discussion. We will continue our discussion of “Omelas” and include a few short articles.  If you don’t have a chance to read these before the meeting or you weren’t at the last one–come anyway!  We will have a few copies of each reading available at the meeting as well.

Date and time: Tuesday, March 14th, 6:30-8:00 PM
Location: Third Floor Board Room at Carnegie-Stout Public Library

“The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas” by Ursula LeGuin

“Capitalism, Socialism & Sustainability: How Politics & the Economy are Ruining the Environment & What We Need to Do to Change it” by Mark Schaeffer

“Certain Problems Need Socialist Solutions” by Maria Svart

We hope to see you there
